Of Pattern And Pulse
This series explores symmetry as a language of accumulation, precision, and quiet intensity. Each work is built through watercolor on paper, where fluid washes meet meticulous, hand-rendered detail.
Circular forms repeat, expand, and interlock—growing outward from central axes into intricate, mirrored structures. What first appears ornamental reveals itself as deeply constructed: thousands of deliberate marks, layered patiently over time. The organic movement of watercolor is held in tension with control, pattern, and repetition. Reminiscent of a kaleidoscope, these compositions are built slowly, by hand. Each element contributes to a larger system, where micro and macro collapse into one continuous field.
This work reflects a meditative process of focus and endurance. Through repetition, the act of making becomes immersive—an exploration of balance, perception, and the threshold where pattern transforms into something almost atmospheric, almost infinite.
